In The Pipeline

A couple of new Joomla! extensions inspired by the creation of this website that could soon find their way into the mainstream.

During the creation of this website a number of functionality ideas cropped up that ended up becoming fully-fledged, standalone Joomla! extensions.

This explains why bringing the site to life took so long. The extensions in question are:

• uFeedBack - a component that allows users of the site to submit categorised feedback (e.g. bug reports, ask questions, etc.)
• HelpCenter - a component that automatically categorises and ranks your  (product) documentation based on usage statistics. Not only is it ideal for product documentation, it can be used for website policies and other general information too. The multi-faceted quick-search feature makes it easy to find answers very quickly.
• ServiCenter - a helpdesk/invoicing component.

You can find evidence of these in action as you explore the Tandolin website. Some of them may even become commercially available depending on levels of interest.
